    Customer is responsible for maintaining current backups of important data on computer:

    If your data on your computer or laptop is "truly important",, you should already have the data regularly backed up.

    Especially prior to computer repair service. Photos, documents, email account, music, videos, program settings etc and any & ALL  IMPORTANT DATA on there laptop or computer, should be regularly backed up by the customer. Hard drives, especially on laptops do not last forever.

    Therefore, customer agrees NOT to hold PCTech Computer Repair Augusta accountable for any data loss, data corruption due to ANY unknown pre-existing problems including but not limited to: hard drive problems, virus infections, poorly configured software/configurations, hardware failures etc problems.

    Data Backup is avalable as a extra service, and will be offered, and performed if requested by the customer.

    Data Backup Waiver must be signed by customer prior to ANY computer or laptop services. 

      PCTech Computer Repair Augusta GA does everything to protect your data. PCtech will not intentially harm your computer, our primary goal is to fix your computer,, not damage it any further. Maintaining a backup of all important data on your laptop or computer at all times is important.

       

      As a precautionary measure, data backup prior to servicing your computer or laptop is available as an additional service, and will be offered.
